Crosspoint is the college ministry of Grace Bible Church.
We exist to encourage and equip college students to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe that church is far more than a building or an hour together once a week. According to Scripture, church is a group of people who love Christ and engage the mission that He sent us on together.
Crosspoint meets on Sunday nights at 6:30pm in the Chapel (see our campus in aerial view below) at Grace Bible Church and is followed by a free meal in our Fellowship Hall.
The gathering is a great time to get together to worship and celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is a time of great music and relevant teaching. We believe God uses life-on-life interaction to help us grow. For that reason, we encourage you to not just be a part of the crowd on Sunday night, but to get into a Group. There are many groups of students that meet throughout the week to live life together, pursue God and live on mission together.
Our College Pastor Roman Walley
Roman Walley became the new pastor of Crosspoint in June of 2016. Roman and his wife Amy were both college students at SFA and grew significantly through the ministry of Crosspoint while they attended SFA. In fact, it was through serving at Crosspoint that they first met and became friends!
It was through the ministry of people at Crosspoint and Grace Bible Church that Roman first began to walk with Jesus and mature as a Christian. By the end of his time serving as a Crosspoint intern in college, he sensed confirmation of a calling to pastoral ministry. After graduation, Roman and Amy lived in Dallas where Amy worked in a financial firm and Roman was trained at Dallas Seminary. Now God has graciously opened a door for them to return to Nacogdoches and serve in the ministry that made such an impact on them. Roman and Amy’s goal in all that they do through Crosspoint is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who increasingly love God and other people.
